Women's Ministry

The Women’s Ministry provides a platform for the women of Shiloh and women in the community to come together and serve as a support group for each other. Through sharing common life issues and drawing upon available resources, one will be able to make more informed decisions leading to a healthier approach to life. This is achieved through sharing information, inspiration, encouraging, respect, honesty, caring and responsibility.

The Women’s Ministry is a spiritual tool available to help women reach their full potential as Christians. Women are encouraged to seek God concerning their purpose and to operate in their spiritual gifts. Through prayer, women are encouraged to learn where their passion to serve is. As the women grow toward the fullness of the measure of Christ, they love and serve with great zeal and enthusiasm, thereby equipping them to mentor and minister to other women effectively.

The Women’s Ministry is involved in regular activities including: spiritual studies, health and wellness sessions, Total Fit Workout exercise program, intercessory prayer, conferences, seminars, workshops, recreational outings, etc. The Women’s Ministry meets each Monday except the Monday that follows the second Sunday from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the annex of the Historic Shiloh Sanctuary. The Total Fit Workout exercise group currently meets each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the Christian Education Center from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Classes are offered by an experienced Certified Personal Trainer at a nominal cost. The Intercessory Prayer Ministry meets each Saturday morning in the annex of the Historic Shiloh Sanctuary from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. To find out how you can become a part of the Women’s Ministry, contact the Rev.
