The “Nehemiah Plan” is a continuous effort to keep the walls of Shiloh
intact, modeled after the book of Nehemiah in the bible. The book of
Nehemiah tells a story of common people committed to a great and
uncommon goal—to rebuild God’s temple. Shiloh’s Technology Committee is
also committed to God’s temple—the walls of Shiloh, and they strive
constantly to make sure the technical aspect of the church is in order. |

The responsibilities of the Technology Committee include operating and
monitoring all automated equipment owned by and contained within the
confines of Shiloh Baptist Church and all associated properties. The
duties include programming lighting in the sanctuary to achieve desired
settings for services and events, monitoring and controlling the sound
system, preparation of materials to be projected on the video screens
for church service, control of the projection of hymns, scripture,
announcements and other video presentations during church related
services, and recording and replicating church services to be sold by
the tape ministry. |
